Roadside SafetyNet (RSN)

Forgot to fill up the tank? Locked the keys in your rental car?

Budget's Roadside SafetyNet is an optional service designed to offer you greater peace of mind during your rental experience, available for an accessible additional charge. This service provides you with coverage and support for any operational inconvenience or unexpected emergency situation that may arise during your trip. In those cases, you will have quick, professional, and reliable assistance, designed to help you efficiently and minimize setbacks.

It is especially valuable when you are driving in an unfamiliar city or area, where resolving these types of situations can be more complex. Roadside SafetyNet is available at participating Budget locations in Costa Rica.

Key Replacement

We will provide replacement keys or professional locksmith assistance in case of loss, damage, or issues with the vehicle keys, so you can continue your trip with the least interruption possible.

Lockout Service

If the keys are locked inside the vehicle, we will provide assistance to safely recover access, avoiding damage and allowing you to resume your journey quickly and without worries.

Jump Start

In case the vehicle has a battery failure or discharge, we will provide ignition assistance through a Jump Start service so you can continue your trip without delays.

Tire Replacement

We will replace a flat or damaged tire with the spare, or tow the vehicle to the nearest service center. The cost of the tire is not included and is billed separately.

Fuel Delivery

If the vehicle runs out of gas, we will provide emergency fuel delivery so you can continue your journey. The service includes up to 3 gallons of fuel.
